The Man Who Played The Violin

The Man Who Played The Violin

In a commonplace environment at an unexpected hour:

Do we perceive beauty?
No. in a commonplace environment at an unexpected hour, most people don't perceive beauty in the little things in their daily routing, including a private concert form Joshua Bell. Although, some people stop and enjoy the little things most people ignore and don't comprehend the beauty, therefore they are not perceiving the beauty around them in a commonplace environment at an unexpected hour.

Do we stop to appreciate it?

No, most people don't feel the need to stop and appreciate the music or street performers because they are in a "rush" or are unable to perceive the beauty in the little things around them. But there are some people who stop to appreciate the music and are humbled by the talent, these people are relaxed and happy throughout the day because they have heard or seen such talent among them.

Do we recognize the talent in an unexpected context?

No, most people don't recognize the talent in an unexpected context because they are unaware of the type of music or because they don't even stop to listen or see. Although over the course of 43 minutes, about 2 people knew who Bell was and only 1 was able to recognize the beauty behind the violin.

If we do not have a moment to stop and listen to one of the best musicians in the world playing the best music ever written, how many other things are we missing?

We're missing on countless amounts  of  beauty around us daily, if it's a street performer or nature. We are constantly surrounded by talent and amazement that surpasses us because we are too focused on the media, work, and everything else happening in our lives.

What does this say about our society?
This arcticle pertains that our society is oblivious to the beauty that occurs daily.
