Long Responses
1. No, none of my family members of mine live in Houston, Tx that were affected by the storm. Although friend's neighborhoods have been flooded but they have been rescued safely.

2. The steps I would take to ensure my families safety along with mine would be to immediately evacuate the premises of the storm, but if that is an unlikely choice than I would make sure we have groceries and water just in case we were trapped in floods. It is vital to follow steps given to us by the news and evacuate if told to.

3. Fiscally the government should be responsible for repairing damages done from the storm  because it ensures Texans that our government is a strong group of members willing to invest financially for the greater good. The government plays an important role to reestablish cities affected by the storm and should play a key role in aiding financially to all of the damages.

4. As Hurricane Harvey has damaged many homes and private properties, it would only be right to have the government cover or at least help financially for the cost of the damages. I believe that the government should help because the storm  may have affected people financially and the storm is a major setback for everyone affected by it.

5. No, I don't believe climate change was the cause of Hurricane Harvey because Texas has experienced floods and storms in the past that allow Texas to be vulnerable to this severe weather. Climate change did make the impact of Hurricane Harvey worse by increasing the seal level with over a foot, but it wasn't the reason Hurricane harvey was established.

Thus, my friends in Houston have been rescued and are safe, if I was going to be impacted with Hurricane Harvey I would be sure to evacuate and make sure my necessities are enough to last me through the calamity. The government should help financially and aid private properties to be fixed, but I don't believe Climate Change was the reason why Hurricane Harvey was caused, but it played a role on impacting it negatively. Hurricane Harvey has affected many people throughout Houston and neighboring cities, but with the help of our community and the government, hopefully all tragedies that occurred will be fixed.
