What is your favorite newspaper front page? Why? I liked the New York Times because of the layout and fonts, I also liked the information that was displayed on it. The design is what really drew my attention.  What is your favorite headline from that newspaper? Why are you interested in it?   My favorite headline from that newspaper was "Shots are fired, and bots swarm, to social divides" because its in all caps and pops because of the font choice. Cover types 1. Early Magazine Covers:  The early magazine doesn't contain the covers we are used to seeing. The opening page was dedicated to the title and the table of contents. But when covers were used they would contain the  title and the publication date and sometimes a small illustration. Some magazine covers contained cover lines, which was found in the beginning of the article on the front page.  2. The Poster Cover:   The main attributes of this cover type includes logos, small cover line that announces the theme, but mainly the poster cover focused on art. These covers include gorgeous illustrations and amazing photographs. Poster covers could be found on many types of magazines, these types of cover became a big hit. Favorite Techniques 1. use one point perspective, would do this by changing the angle or my eye of view with the camera to create depth and perspective and to make the picture unique and appealing to the viewers. 2. Create impact with imagery, I would do this by putting emotion into the subject this will help the viewers be appealed by the image. 3. Use a frame to highlight, I can do this by framing the subject by using objects, this is important because its a composition rule that can increase how appealing the picture can be.
